Magento is not easy ! Magento is a complex system with many components and entities. As per my personal experience If a developer knows a specific section of development(backend or frontend) he will face a lot of difficulties to find out the correct solution.

For example, If you are an expert in the backend(PHP) and have no knowledge or very minimal knowledge of frontend(JavaScript/Ui Component/Theme/Layout etc.) you are going to suffer a lot during your development, which will eventually increase the development time also there is a possibility that best approaches are not followed.

So if you are in Magento you need to know both backend and frontend. If you are not very expert but you should know at list the underlying layer of each section and understand the basic architecture.

Magento 2 Certified Professional Developer – The Magento 2 Certified Professional Developer exam, a primarily scenario-based exam, is designed to validate the skills and knowledge needed to customize Magento 2 in the areas of: UI modifications, database changes, admin modifications, checkout process customizations, order management integrations and customizations, catalog structure and functionality changes. This exam is for a Magento 2 developer who has a deep understanding of Magento 2 development concepts and experience (recommend 1.5 years) in implementing and customizing Magento 2.

Magento 2 Certified Professional Front End Developer –

The Magento 2 Certified Professional Front End Developer exam, a primarily scenario-based exam, is designed to validate the skills and knowledge needed to understand Magento’s theming components and the ability to modify the user interface.

A Magento 2 Front End Developer creates and customizes Magento themes including templates, layouts, CSS, JavaScript, and other components of the front end, including translations, of a Magento site. A Magento 2 Front End Developer uses the Admin Panel to implement design-related system configuration and modify the appearance of specific pages.

This exam is for a Magento 2 Front End Developer with a deep understanding of Magento 2 fundamentals and with 1.5 years or more of experience with Magento 2.

MAGENTO 2 CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER OVERVIEW-

This exam will validate the skills and knowledge needed to develop new JavaScript modules for Magento 2 and customize existing ones. It will verify if the developer understands the core of Magento JavaScript framework, is able to use its components in a proper way, understands the right way of customizing existing components and adding a new one. Special attention in the exam paid to UI Components; the exam will validate if the developer understands their purpose, area of application, architecture, and lifecycle.

Considering the described fact and after a lot of preparation and study, I become a Magento Full Stack Developer this year.

After the certification, my confidence level is grown up and my debugging skills are improved.
